Fontenelle is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lincoln County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 19 at the 2000 census.


Fontenelle is located at 41°59′24″N 110°3′12″W / 41.99°N 110.05333°W / 41.99; -110.05333 (41.990006, -110.053420)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.6 square miles (9.3 km²), of which, 3.5 square miles (8.9 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.4 km²) of it (3.90%) is water.


As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 19 people, 5 households, and 5 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 5.5 people per square mile (2.1/km²). There were 8 housing units at an average density of 2.3/sq mi (0.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 100.00% White.
