Diriections to the Radisson Hotel:

From I-95 heading north (i.e., from TF Green airport), take exit 19 onto I-195 (US-6). After 1 mile, take the Gano Street exit (exit 3). You will see the Radisson on your left as you exit. At the bottom of the ramp, follow signs to the Radisson parking lot.

From I-95 south, take exit 20 onto I-195. After 1 mile, take the Gano Street exit (exit 3). You will see the Radisson on your left as you exit. At the bottom of the ramp, follow signs to the Radisson parking lot.

Transportation from the airport:

If you are flying into TF Green (Providence's airport), it is easiest to take a taxi to the Radisson Hotel. The cost should be around $35. Alternatively, there is shuttle service available directly from TF Green to Brown's campus for $11. Go to Airport Shuttle for more information. This service may be particularly useful if you are planning to leave directly from campus back to the airport on Thursday evening.

If you are flying into Boston's Logan airport, there is bus service directly from the airport to downtown Providence. See Peter Pan bus for more information.

Transportation from the train station:

The Providence Amtrak train station is about 3 miles from the Radisson. A taxi from the station to the hotel should be around $10.

Direction from the hotel to the conference center:

The workshop will take place in the Center for Information Technology (the CIT building), on the campus of Brown University. The address is 115 Waterman Street, Providence, RI 02912.

From the hotel, head east on Wickendon for about 7 blocks to Brook Street. Turn right on Brook and head north for about 7 more blocks to Manning Walk (about half a block up from George Street). Turn left on the walkway and the CIT will be on your right (behind Marston Hall). Once you enter the CIT, take the elevators to the 3rd floor where breakfast will be served. See the Campus Map for more details.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk, there is a trolley you can catch from Wickendon Street that will take you to within half a block of the CIT (Brook and Manning Walk). Trolleys run every 20 minutes, between the hours of 6:30am to 7:00pm. The fare is $1.75 per ride. See the Trolley Map for the exact route.

Finally, there is a complementary hotel shuttle available to take guests from the Radisson to campus, but seating and frequency of service is limited so it would be best if you planned ahead and left enough time to walk to campus to take the trolley.
