# jemdoc: menu{MENU}{labs.html}, showsource = ELE 201: Information Signals - Labs [http://www.princeton.edu/~cuff/ Prof. Paul Cuff], [http://www.princeton.edu/ee/ Princeton University], Spring Semester 2016-17. Hands-on lab assignments involving Matlab programming will take place every week (unless otherwise notified) in F115 at the scheduled times. Please work with a partner. You can share code (assuming you were both involved in creating it), but you must submit your own individual write-ups. Write-ups will be submitted bi-weekly on the Friday following the lab completion. All of the due dates are midnight. Most of the lab grade (70\%) will be based on demonstrating presented to the TAs. The remainder (30\%) will be based on the write-up and questions answered therein. Even thought the assignments are handed in bi-weekly, you must complete them in the week they are scheduled, as the TAs will be tracking your progress and giving you credit for your demonstrations. == Lab Assignments - No lab sessions the first week (Feb. 6-8). - Lab 1 (Matlab and signal analysis) is due Feb. 24. -- [files/lab1.pdf Handout] -- [files/lab1_files.zip Supplemental files] - Lab 2 ([files/Wang03-shazam.pdf Shazam]) is due March 10. -- [files/lab2.pdf Handout] -- [files/lab2_files.zip Supplemental files] - No lab sessions during midterm week (Feb. 13-15). - Lab 3 (Signal processing) is due April 7. -- [files/lab3.pdf Handout] -- [files/lab3_files.zip Supplemental files] - Lab 4 (Compression, error correction, and watermarking) is due April 14.
