Q12: How do I save results output to a file?

A: Use:

UTILITY TABULATE OUTPUT PRINTFIL OPEN Filename

UTILITY TABULATE OUTPUT PRINTFIL CLOSE Filename

This will start/stop output of graph and tabulated data to the named print file. If no file name is given then all output will go to "fgvlst.lst".

Example:

With a loadcase and results attribute defined, to save results to a file ‘output.out’ use:

UTILITY TABULATE OUTPUT PRINTFIL OPEN output.out

UTILITY TABULATE RESULTS

UTILITY TABULATE OUTPUT PRINTFIL CLOSE



or the same for saving graph data.
