Using the Mouse

If a mouse is available then it may be used for menu item selection, except for where a name or number is required - this type of parameter must be entered via the keyboard.

For a three button mouse, the buttons have the following meaning

Left Button Select an item

Middle Button Select an item and force any optional menu to appear

Right Button Undo a selection from the menu

With a two button mouse it is possible to simulate a middle mouse button click by holding down the SHIFT key whilst clicking the left button.
