Local Axis Systems

 When local directions are requested from the ABAQUS program using the `DIRECTIONS=YES' option on the `*EL FILE' command, the interface program will process them as local axis systems. Only local directions at Gauss points and at the element nodes are transferred. FEMVIEW currently supports local axis systems at the model level so if there are several loadcases in the model with one local axis system for each loadcase only the first one encountered in the ABAQUS results file is processed. Local axis systems can be displayed in FEMVIEW with the command `LABEL MESH AXES'. Labelling of the gaussian local axes requires the Gauss point coordinates. Again, in the case of multiple loadcases, the first Gauss point coordinates data set encountered in the ABAQUS results file will be used.
