Preface

This manual is a user guide to version 7.085 of the ABAQUS to FEMVIEW Interface Program.

This release represents a small increase in functionality over previous versions of the program and is fully compatible with ABAQUS 4.9, and both the Standard and Explicit Versions of ABAQUS 5.2-5.7.

The following new features are incorporated in this release:

• The new ABAQUS 5.7 elements are supported.
• Gasket elements are processed.
• Most of the new ABAQUS 5.7 output variables are supported.
