This manual describes the interface program between ABAQUS levels 4.9 to 5.7 and FEMVIEW. The interface is a separate program which reads ABAQUS model data from the ABAQUS '.fil' file (ASCII or binary) and writes this data directly to a FEMVIEW database and/or to a FEMVIEW neutral ASCII file. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with FEMGV Versions 2.2 or later and ABAQUS 4.9-5.7.
