Overview

This interface exists as a subroutine in the FEMGEN/FEMVIEW executable and may be called from within the main program. The interface scans the FEMGEN database and writes the data to a text file in the form of a BERSAFE 88 input deck. The input decks produced by the interface are compatable with the following BERSAFE analysis modules:

BERSAFE 		  Static Elastic analysis, Phase II, Level 3         
BERSAFE 		  Static Non-linear analysis, Phase III, Level 3     
BERFLHE 		  Thermal Analysis 
BERDYNE 		  Linear Dynamic analysis, Level 3 

The input decks produced by the interface are suitable for entering directly into the BERSAFE analysis modules without the need for editing by the user. For some models, the user may wish to edit the input deck to modify items such as the Job control card, material properties etc. This process is aided by the use of free format on certain card types, and annotation of data in the form of comment cards.
