Shell and Membrane Properties

The property values for shells and membranes are defined as follows:

PROPERTY PHYSICAL SHELL-TH [property_name] t SHRF NIP PROPT IRID

Where:

t = Thickness of element
SHRF = Shear factor (optional, default is 1)
NIP = Number of through thickness integration points (optional, default is 2)
PROPT = Shell element printed output option (optional, default is 3)
IRID = Integration rule (optional, default is 0)

The SHELL-TH property type can also be used for thick shell elements to define the SHRF, NIP and IRID parameters (and PROPT for keyword format); the values of t (and PROPT for non-keyword format) will not be taken into account in this case.
