Rotational Acceleration

PROPERTY LOAD R-ACCEL [load_name] [loadcase_no] part_name/ALL args

Argument Meaning

load_name FEMGEN load name.

loadcase_no FEMGEN loadcase number.

part_name Any geometry containing nodes.

arg1 Global x-component of rotation.

arg2 Global y-component of rotation.

arg3 Global z-component of rotation.

arg4 Point name1 (optional).

arg5 Point name2 (optional).

arg6 Global x-component of rotation (optional).

arg7 Global y-component of rotation (optional).

arg8 Global z-component of rotation (optional).

Notes:

1.

The interface will simply apply the same rotation value to all nodes attached to the specified geometry ie. it will not divide the rotation value by the number of nodes.

2.

Arguments 4 to 8 are optional and may be used to specify a linear variation of rotation from point name1 to point name2.
