There are three working environments within FEMGV. Firstly, there is the model INDEX environment in which the user can obtain information on the models stored in the database files and perform database administration tasks. Secondly, there is the model creation environment FEMGEN, and thirdly the model and results assessment environment FEMVIEW.

It is possible to change directly between the three environments at any stage in a FEMGV session.
