The simple lug model created in chapter 5 is used for this example. If the analysis has not been performed then a complete results file is supplied under the name of TUTLUG.FVI.

The displacements results for the two loadcases will be combined and then stored in the database; factors of 1.5 and 2.5 will be applied to loadcases 1 and 2 respectively. The same operation will be performed for the nodal stresses for the two loadcases.

The second part of this chapter shows how to calculate TRESCA stress using the command RESULTS CALCULATE EXPRESSION.
