The LABEL OPTIONS EXTERNAL command allows the user to control the size of the symbols that are displayed on the mesh to represent external freedoms. The external symbols themselves are displayed by using LABEL MESH EXTERNAL command.
The Factor specified is used to scale the standard symbol size.
Examples:
Requests that external symbols are displayed half their normal size.
