This command is used to apply an initial velocity at nodes.
| icname | = | name of the initial condition, used for later references. |
| part | = | part to have velocity, point, line, surface, body or set. |
| vel | = | the magnitude of the velocity. This initial condition will be applied on all |
| nodes in the specified part. | ||
| dof | = | direction (degree of freedom). |
| 1 or X = x-translation | ||
| 2 or Y = y-translation | ||
| 3 or Z = z-translation | ||
| 4 or RX = x-rotation | ||
| 5 or RY = y-rotation | ||
| 6 or RZ = z-rotation |
Examples:
Apply an initial velocity of 120 in direction Z to all nodes on part S1.
