PROPERTY MATERIAL MAT [manm] emod [po] [rho] [alpha] [tref]

                          

This command is used to define a group of material properties.

manm = name of material, used for later references

emod = modulus of elasticity

po = Poisson's ratio

rho = density

alpha = coefficient of thermal expansion

tref = reference temperature

The material name will be automatically generated by FEMGEN if omitted. The definition of `emod' is compulsory, all other values will be set to zero if not specified. This command should be used for isotropic materials only.

To assign material properties to a certain part of the structure use the command PROPERTY ATTACH.

Examples:

PROPERTY MATERIAL MAT 200000 0.3

Define a material with only emod and po defined, all other values zero, and an automatically generated name.
