The Modular Flat Plate
The flow studied was a turbulent boundary layer with a Reynolds number based on momentum thickness of 700. The flow was seeded from the two dye slots with disodium fluorescein dye. The next section shows the laser scanning apparatus used to illuminate the turbulent boundary layer.
