Fuel and Oxidizer for the Flames

The flames in these experiments will use natural gas (methane, CH4) as the fuel.

The oxidizer will be air, or an air and nitrogen mixture that will decrease the oxidizer volume density by introducing an inert material into the pre-mixed flame.

Nitrogen gas is the Inert material that may be added to the premixed flame, or used to dilute the fuel in the diffusion flame.
