Ductility
Index
Ductility is a measure of the ability of a material to undergo plastic deformation. Two measures are used: The percent elongation to fracture and the percent reduction in area at fracture.

Percent Elongation = {(Lf - L0)/L0} x 100

Percent Area Reduction = {(A0 - Af)/A0} x 100

The subscripts (f, 0) correspond to the final and initial states of the system.
