triclinic system has the least symmetry of any Bravais lattice. The only
cell is the primative cell (P) which has a partial lattice point at each
cell corner for a total of one lattice point per cell.
For this lattice: a < b < c; and the angles a, b, g, are all unequal and may not be 900. |
