On the Campus 2005-06
Meet PAW’s On the Campus columnists for 2005-06:

Christian R. Burset ’07

Christian, a history major from Bernardsville, N.J., is returning for his second year with PAW.  He’s active with the Aquinas Institute, the Glee Club, and Theatre Intime, and is a senior writer for the Daily Princetonian. A former denizen of Wilson College, he now belongs to the Colonial Club.  In January, he’ll move “off the campus” to study at the University of Oxford.

Michael Frazer GS

Michael is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Politics and a lecturer in the Center for Human Values at Princeton. Originally from New York City, Michael was an undergraduate at Yale University, where he served as editor of Rumpus, the nation’s oldest college tabloid. His dissertation, entitled “Liberal Sympathies: Sentimentalist Grounds for a Commitment to Justice,” defends a compassion-centered approach to political philosophy through an examination of Enlightenment-era debates about justice and the moral sentiments. In addition to his scholarly publications in such journals as Political Theory and the Review of Politics, Michael has also served as a columnist for the Daily Princetonian.

Adam Gottesfeld ’07

Hailing from Los Angeles, Adam is majoring in the Woodrow Wilson and planning to obtain certificates in French and European Politics and Society. He is a member of the University Press Club and the Tower Club and occasionally freelances for the Trenton Times and the New Jersey Jewish News. Outside of Princeton, Adam enjoys traveling and windsurfing.

Elyse Graham ’07

Elyse is an undergraduate fellow at Mathey College. She is studying art and nonfiction literature. She relaxes by drawing while listening to public radio. She thinks campus looks best at twilight on cloudy days. She recently finished an internship at the American Scholar. She has spent two years on campus and is more confused than ever. She has already forgotten what it is like to live without Webmail.

Jocelyn Hanamirian ’08

Jocelyn is a sophomore from Villanova, Pa. She plans to major in comparative literature and has interests in journalism and languages. This past summer she interned for WHYY in Philadelphia, doing research for the current affairs interview show Radio Times; she also produced her own feature pieces for the air on Penn’s radio station WXPN. She is a staff writer for the Daily Princetonian and a poetry editor at the Nassau Literary Review.

Amy Sennett ’06

When not putting pen to paper for this publication or on her most recent assignment with the University Press Club, Amy can be found with the other Woodrow Wilson School majors burning the midnight oil in the basement of Robertson Hall. A Francophile, she hopes to contrast the assimilation of Muslim immigrants into French society with other European countries in her senior thesis. Current president of the Press Club, Amy has written for the Trenton Times and Washington Post. Amy often can be seen leading Orange Key tours around campus, and she heads up the Outdoor Action Leader Trainer Committee. She is also a proud member of the Tiger Inn and Kappa Alpha Theta. In what little time is left, she enjoys long runs and episodes of The West Wing. Post-graduation, Amy hopes to see the world beyond her native Wisconsin, combining her passions for travel and journalism before heading to law school.

P.G. Sittenfeld ’07

P.G. is an English major from Cincinnati, Ohio. A second-year On The Campus columnist, he enjoys playing basketball, reading fiction and eating Thai food. After college, P.G. hopes to pursue high school teaching or public service. His father, Paul ’69, has done his class notes for 31 years. P.G. likes to think he is PAW’s fresher Sittenfeld voice.
