Letters from students to alumni:
October 16, 2001 The Princeton women's rugby team is a team with a long tradition of dedication and pride. A club sport at Princeton since 1979, the team's work ethic and attitude better resemble that of a championship varsity team. The team has consistently qualified for the Final Four, winning the national tournament in 1995 and 1995, and having at least five players recognized each year as All-America athletes. The love of the sport is passed down to each new class, with approximately 45 players on two squads experiencing the pride of putting on a Princeton jersey. Last spring, Alex Curtis, the coach of the team for over nine years, announced his retirement. Currently under the guidance of the two senior captains, the undefeated team is in search of a coach to lead us to the national title. If you are interested in helping with the team or have any suggestions for potential coaches or sponsors, please contact Laura Miller, lemiller@princeton.edu, or Sarah Apgar, seapgar@princeton.edu Erin Culbertson 03 Go back to our online Letter Box Table of Contents
