•Eco-Friendly refers to seafood that are not over fished, and pose minimal threat to the environment or other species when they are caught.

•Environmental Defense’s Seafood Selector www.environmentaldefense.org/seafood/fishhome.cfm have lists of suitable fish; seafood in the red section should be completely avoided, those in the yellow should be purchased with caution, optimally products in the green section should be purchased if possible.
•All three lists should be consulted for categorization of a product as there is some discrepancy between red listed fish on each list.
