Student work: 'Elektra'

Sophocles' tragedy "Elektra," a dark, bloody tale of familial vengeance from ancient Greece, is explored anew by senior Evelyn Giovine in the title role with direction by Alexandru Mihail. Performances are at 8 p.m. Feb. 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 in the Matthews '53 Acting Studio at 185 Nassau St. Tickets are available at Frist Campus Center or online through University Ticketing.
