Name: Barbara Myers

Position: Graduate administrator for the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Administering everything from the recruiting and admissions process to final orals for the 70 graduate students enrolled in the department.

Quote: "It is very gratifying working with our graduate students. They're a terrific bunch of people intelligent and a lot of fun."

Other interests: Spending time with her husband and 17-year-old son. Traveling she's been to 35 countries on six continents. Reading and going to movies and art museums. Volunteering on the board of College Bound, with the YWCA English as a Second Language program, on the executive board of the parent organization for the Lawrenceville School, at Nassau Presbyterian Church, and in a program for institutionalized juvenile delinquent girls.


By the numbers

With the recent passing of "Fat Tuesday," thoughts turn toward eating habits. According to figures provided by Dining Services:

• The Frist Food Gallery hit a record of 3,500 customers served on Feb. 19.

• During an average week, Frist diners go through 2,400 pounds of pizza dough and 3,500 cups of yogurt.

• Dining halls in the five colleges average 4,700 meals per day Monday through Thursday: 800 for breakfast, 1,900 for lunch and 2,000 for dinner.

Deadline. In general, the copy deadline for each issue is the Friday 10 days in advance of the Monday cover date. The deadline for the Bulletin that covers March 26-April 1 is Friday, March 16. A complete publication schedule is available at deadlines or by calling (609) 258-3601.


Subscriptions. The Bulletin is distributed free to faculty, staff and students. Others may subscribe to the Bulletin for $24 for the academic year (half price for current Princeton parents and people over 65).
