Vorbeck Materials Corp. was selected as the winner in the "Materials - Corporate" division by the 2010 World Technology Network Summit and Awards. Vorbeck joins those Award winners who are, in the opinion of the WTN Fellows and Founding Members, "doing the innovative work of the greatest likely long-term significance in their field."

The awards were announced during the World Technology Awards ceremony on 1 December 2010 at the Time and Life Building in New York City.

The World Technology Network (WTN) is a global community of peer-elected individuals (Fellows) and organizations (Corporate Members) in the science and technology world. Through their annual World Technology Awards program, annual World Technology Summit and other high-level gatherings, they seek to examine the likely implications and possible applications of the broadest range of emerging technologies, catalyzing new relationships among leading innovators.
