Review article on graphene-based sensors the "most accessed" article for July 2010
An article reviewing graphene-based electrochemical sensors is the "most accessed" article for July 2010 in the journal Electroanalysis and the second-most accessed article for the year August 2009 throuh July 2010. Prof. Ilhan Aksay co-authored the paper along with researchers at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
In the article, the authors review recent advances in the graphene-based electrochemical sensors and biosensors. Particular attention is given to the electrocatalytic activity of graphene with small biomolecules such as hydrogen peroxide, dopamine and NADH. Graphene-based enzymatic and DNA sensors are also discussed.
