Byte Swapped Result files

By default the post-ansys interface program works with ANSYS result files written in big-endian format, however it is known that on the PC and the DEC ALPHA the default for binary result files is little-endian format.

Versions of Post-ANSYS from 5.3 will, by default try to read the file in big-endian format. If this is unsuccessful it will automatically swap the bytes of the result file and try again. If this still is unsuccessful the program execution will be terminated.

The command line option '-CUSTER' may still be used to force the interface to internally swap the bytes of the result file, on the PC-DOS version this is done as follows.

FTN77 postansys /params -CUSTER
