DYNA3D outputs results in either an element-wise or node-wise manner dependent
on the results type. This interface program will transfer both types of results.
This interface program
allocates the FEMVIEW attribute type NODAL to all DYNA3D node-wise results
(i.e. displacement, velocity and acceleration).
All DYNA3D element-wise results are assigned the FEMVIEW attribute type
INVARIANT; they are listed in the table below.

DYNA3D Element-wise Results Processed
Multiple surface results are interpreted for any results location. Surface
numbers are allocated to surfaces incrementally in the
order that the surfaces are found. For DYNA3D shell and thick shell elements, mid-surface,
bottom surface and top surface will become surfaces 1, 2 and 3
in a FEMVIEW model.
Within FEMVIEW the results for each surface can be accessed using the command
`RESULTS RANGE SURFACE surface_number'.
