The DYNA3D elements recognised by this interface are the eight-node bricks and thick shells, the
two-node beams and the four-node shells. They correspond to FEMVIEW element type
numbers 1, 11 and 9 respectively. Element numbers are allocated by the interface program.
Each element in the model is allocated a group number by this program according
to the DYNA3D element type and material identification number.
Thus elements having the same type and the same material are gathered in the
same group.
