If a PHOENICS grid has only one cell in any directional the model is assumed
to be 2-dimensional and the second grid plane in that direction is ignored.
The element type allocated is a 4 noded plate element (QU4). If there is only
one cell in more than one grid plane only the first (in the order I, J, K) is
reduced.
