The following elements should be assigned beam section properties defined using the GENERAL, PIPE, BOX, USEC, or TSEC property type (see FEMGV User Manual for details).
BAR, CONROD, ROD, TUBE, BEAM
The PBEAM property type can also be used to assign properties to element type BEAM, see Paragraph 3.10.
For Example:
PROPERTY PHYSICAL BOX [propname] width height
Beam orientation definitions are appended to an existing beam section property via the command:
