The PHOENICS analysis environment

The general modelling commands that are available in FEMGEN have been tailored specifically for use with PHOENICS. The PHOENICS specific environment is invoked with the FEMGEN command `PROPERTY FE-PROG PHOENICS'. If FEMGEN is being used to generate only PHOENICS input files, then the PHOENICS environment can be set automatically using an environment variable: 'FG_PRE_INT=PHOENICS'. It is important to remember that if the PHOENICS environment is to be invoked manually then this must be done as soon as possible in the modelling session and certainly before any loads, materials, boundary or physical properties are defined.
