PROPERTY MATERIAL GENERAL [manm] real1 [real2 real3 .... real21]

            

This command is used to define general material properties.


manm = name of material, used at later references
realn = material data as specified for the chosen FE-program (up to 21 values)

This command is used to define non-standard material properties. A common usage would be for the definition of anisotropic materials or fluid properties. The real values are transferred and interpreted in the relevant FEM-program interface. The interpretation of such data depends entirely on the interface program.

To assign material properties to a certain part of the structure use the command PROPERTY ATTACH.

Examples:

PROPERTY MATERIAL GENERAL MAT1 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.

Define a material MAT1 with general properties 1. 2. ... 9.

2.
PROPERTY MATERIAL GENERAL RUBB A10 3.333 1.286

Applies a material called RUBB. The 10th value and 11th values are set to 3.333 and 1.286 respectively. If this is a new material then all other values are set = 0.0 and if it is a modification to an existing material then all other values are unchanged.
