UTILITY SETUP Mode Control

  This command enables the user to setup program controls, the characteristics of the display, plotter and printer, parameters for animation and define synonyms.

2.18.8.1 ANIMATE - Setup animation parameters.

2.18.8.2 COLOUR - Change colour definitions.

2.18.8.3 CONFIRM - Switch on/off confirmation for MODIFY and DELETE commands.

2.18.8.4 DIALOGUE - Set number of lines in dialogue area.

2.18.8.5 ECHO - Switch on/off the command echo.

2.18.8.6 FEEDBACK - Control feedback with FEMGEN .

2.18.8.7 MENU - Control the display of command menus.

2.18.8.8 PLOTTER - Setup plotter characteristics.

2.18.8.9 PRINTER - Setup printer characteristics.

2.18.8.10 QUALITY - Setup mesh quality criteria.

2.18.8.11 ROTATIONS - Change sense of relative rotations.

2.18.8.12 SYNONYMS - Define and save command synonyms.

2.18.8.13 UNDO - Switch on/off the FEMGEN undo facility.

2.18.8.14 VIEW - Switch on/off display of geometric point markers.

When suitable combinations of hardware and software exist, a number of forms are available at the UTILITY SETUP level. The presence of these forms is indicated by '...' appearing in the menu after the command e.g. UTILITY SETUP PLOTTER....
