We are a fellowship of Christian graduate students and other members of the university community. Our purpose is to encourage a Christ-centered witnessing community where members grow in love for God, God's Word, His people and His work. We include Christians of many cultural and denominational backgrounds, and we welcome all who seek God.
Note: All coffee meetups take place at Panera Bread at 136 Nassau Street at 7:30 pm, unless otherwise noted. These meetings feature a professor who shares for 5-15 minutes on a topic like thriving in graduate school or integrating social justice into research or learning to teach in a way that helps students grow. Then we open the floor to discussion and encourage everyone to contribute questions and ideas to the discussion.
Weekly during fall semester: Liane is organizing once a week prayer for 30 min. in one of the grad housing sites.
We will have a time of prayer for the semester this Friday morning (Sept. 21) at 8 am. We'll meet at Lakeside Graduate Student Housing. We'll also plan to take a few minutes and talk about starting regular weekly morning prayer at Lakeside (and in other grad housing if there's interest).
If you'd like to come, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for the exact location.
