A
word from the team captain
Though kendo has a significant combat element, the heart of kendo is respect. As we practice, we don't focus on hitting our opponent over the head with a bamboo stick (which is definitely part of it). We focus on advancing our kendo, and helping each other with theirs. Our core members form a close-knit, mutually respectful group who have much more than kendo in common. People come to kendo for various reasons. They stay for one:they love it. Come to one of our practices and see if you'd like to be a part of this group.
