Princeton Interactive Crisis Simulation

PICSIM 2005 Delegate Materials

Conference Schedule (.pdf) [Subject to Change]

Why should I attend PICSim 2005?

Innovative format: No more long debates that always end up with a vote and a resolution whose effects are never known. In PICSim, delegates know and, more importantly, feel the consequences of all their decisions. This interactive crisis is meant to simulate real world affairs that encompass and transcend the U.N. arena.

Realism: Delegates receive media updates as to what is going on in the region and how their decisions have affected such outcomes. The power of the media is not downplayed!

State of the art facilities: All committees are connected through the Internet and special software designed for PICSim. Moreover, each committee is equipped with laptops provided by the university, projectors and audiovisual displays to view and study the materials provided for the crisis settings.

Highly experienced and professional staff: Our staff members are highly experienced and greatly value the conference and your participation; we cater the committees and staff positions to each of our members, ensuring content-rich debate and accuracy in our dealings.
