Princeton MSA

As'salaamu Aleikoum!

No matter which corner of the world you come from, welcome to Princeton’s Muslim Student Association. Established in 1995, Princeton University’s MSA is a strictly non-political faith-based organization dedicated to uniting the Muslim community at Princeton through a variety of year-round religious and social events. We are also committed to enhancing the spirit of religious co-existence, understanding, and dialogue at Princeton. We welcome everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or creed, to come to our events to participate or just observe.

Feel free to navigate through our site and don't forget to leave feedback!

    Special Announcement: EID PLANS!

Princeton's MSA will be celebrating Eid ul-Fitr on Sunday, September 20, based on the Islamic Society of North America's calculations. To mark the occasion, we have a series of events planned:

    Eid ul Fitr plans

10AM: Eid Prayer will be held in the Frist Multipurpose Room (MPR), on the bottom level of the Frist campus center. Parking is available along Prospect Avenue or, for students/staff, in the lot behind the CJL.
11AM: Brunch will be served following the prayer, featuring a selection of snacks and refreshments, as we formally break our month-long fast.
7PM: Eid Banquet will be held in the new Carl A. Fields center, on the corner of Olden and Prospect (just opposite the old CAF center). We have a fun and festive night planned, filled with good conversations, a good meal, and a variety of performances showcasing our members' diverse array of talents. Formal attire please - traditional dress is encouraged!

    Ramadan Mubarak!

Alhumdulillah, it is that time of year again where we spiritually re-charge and purify ourselves through fasting, self-sacrifice, and prayer. This year, Princeton's MSA will continue to host a variety of activities and events for the community throughout the month, from daily iftars to spiritual nights of devotion. Please make sure to check the MSA calendar for a list of events and check the Ramadan page for more information. And as always, all are welcome to all of our events!
