Race for Development 2005
Association for India's Development, Princeton Chapter presents a unique opportunity to train for long distance running and also contribute to India's development in the process.

No prior experience is necessary but only a few months of training (provided by us) and commitment. Several chapters of AID and ASHA for Education have in the past trained many first time runners and successfully raised over $900,000 for projects over the past five years through more than 300 runners and walkers.

This year AID Princeton will be organizing marathon training program along with the Central Newjersey and Princeton Chapters of ASHA. The programs begin in early June and will be targeted at the following marathons.

Nov. 20th: Philadelphia Marathon
Oct. 30th: Marine Corps Marathon
Oct. 2nd: Grete's Great Gallop Half-Marathon (Central park, NYC)

AID Princeton provides you:
+ Training with a professional coach
+ Registration to one of the marathons
+ Travel to and accomodation at marathon location

You give AID your commitment to:
+ Raise funds for sustainable development projects in India
+ Attend weekly training runs with a group of enthusiastic and like-minded runners

The Kickoff event will be held on June 15th 2005, 7pm at Princeton University. Please plan to attend even if you are not sure about your participation

You can attend the Kickoff event, run and train with us for a month and then make your decision.
