Housing and Meals
Students will stay in dormitories at Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia in St. Petersburg. The university is centrally located in downtown St. Petersburg, with theatres, palaces, cafes, and major museums all within walking distance.

Field Trips
Several afternoon field trips are planned to sites in and around St. Petersburg. Additionally, there will be weekend trips to Moscow and to the Solovki Islands, where the Gulag Archipelago started. Weekly community service is also planned.
