PA Supreme Court Election
Casey Melvin '10's mom is the Republican nominee for Supreme Court in Pennsylvania. From Casey: "It is a very important election because the balance of the court is at stake (it is 3 strict constructionists and 3 judicial activists currently). Also, with the census next year in 2010, the Supreme Court of PA has the final word on re-districting for State House, Senate, and Congress. Her judicial philosophy is one of judicial restraint. Her website is www.JudgeOrieMelvin.com." If you want to volunteer for the campaign in any way, e-mail Casey (cmelvin@).
