One of SHAB's main responsibilities is to conduct semi-annual evaluations of University Health Services at McCosh Health Center. During a designated week, paper surveys are distributed to each patient. The paper surveys are:

1. co-designed by SHAB & UHS staff
2. department-specific
3. one page, double-sided.

These user-based evaluations are then collected and tallied by SHAB members. The data collected is completely confidential. After analyzing and reviewing the data, SHAB members meet with UHS administration to look over and discuss the results, collaborating to maintain and improve the quality of the services provided by UHS.
