Professor Carles Boix, Princeton University's Robert Garrett Professor of Politics and Public Affairs, has been chosen to receive the American Political Science Association Comparative Democratization section's best article award for 2012 for his APSR article, "Democracy, Development and the International System."
Professor Helen Milner B. C. Forbes Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, and the director of the Center for Globalization and Governance, has been elected president of the International Political Science Association. Princeton PhD Noam Lupu, now assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, has been awarded the Gabriel Almond Award for the Best Dissertation in Comparative Politics. His dissertation has already been awarded the Juan Linz Prize for Best Dissertation in the Comparative Study of Democracy 2012, from the Comparative Democratization section of APSA.
