Our Commitment to Sustainability

  • Waste Awareness Program
We promote food waste awareness through implementation of our "Trim Trax" program,
which tracks, measures and minimizes food waste. In addition, all food waste is sent to
a local farm where the food is sanitized, processed and fed to pigs. All oil waste is
collected and taken to a local plant for biodiesel production.
  • Antibiotic-free Protein
Our chicken, turkey and pork are produced without the routine use of antibiotics
    as a feed additive.
  • Compostable Disposables
We offer environmentally sustainable and compostable alternatives, such as containers
made entirely from corn that are 100% compostable.
  • Milk Produced Without Synthetic rBGH
We only purchase milk produced by dairy cows that do not receive injections of synthetic
    bovine growth hormones.
  • Chemical Use Reduction
We try to reduce and strive to eliminate non-environmentally friendly chemicals and utilize
Ecolab’s Green Chemical Program when possible.
