A Trip to China
A Trip to China is a two-volume textbook for students who have studied one year of Chinese. It is written for the same level as the Intermediate Reader of Modern Chinese, but it differs in its focus. The former is a textbook that deals mainly with contemporary college life in America, while A Trip to China discusses the Chinese people and current issues in China from the point of view of an American student.
The CLP's A Trip to China Audio Recordings ($45.00, available as CDs or cassette tapes) cover all lessons in the text. Institutional copies ($375.00) are also available, and come with a license agreement authorizing limited distribution and reduplication rights.
