A: By editing the resources file "femsys.ini".

All resources are commented out, just activate those you wish to use. Resources covered are for ABAQUS, ANSYS, ASAS, DYNA3D, NASTRAN, fonts and plotting.

The settings can be used in conjunction with environment variables FG_PRE_INT and FG_PRE_EXT in the startup file to set FE ENVIRONMENT and default extension for the interface input file. Note that more than one analysis package may be defined if desired.

On NT/95 the resource file is usually found in the custom directory of installation and environment variables are not required.
