Q5: How do I save and print a plotfile?

A: Before saving or printing a plotfile, characteristics of the plotter device must be set by using:
  UTILITY SETUP PLOTTER FORMAT Device
The available formats are: POSTCRIPT (MONOCHROM or COLOUR), NEUTRAL, INTERLEAF, LASERJET, PAINTJET, HPGL, HPGL2, DESKJET, CGM, HARDCOPY, TIFF

Once the plotter device is selected, the plotfile can be saved by using:
  DRAWING SAVE PLOTFILE Filename
The HARDCOPY (which saves files in PCX format on PC, XBMP on Open GL, and Silicon Graphics RGB format for Motif (i.e. same as scrsave on SG)), CGM and TIFF options allow the saving of picture files that can be inserted into any word processor for report generation. The other types of plotfiles created by other plotter devices can be copied directly to the specified plotting device.
