The interface creates various ABAQUS node sets based on FEMGEN part names in order to define loads, constraints etc. The interface also creates a node set named 'ALLNODE' into which all nodes in the model are placed.
It is also possible to create specific user-defined node sets. This is achieved by placing all geometric entities associated with the node set into a set whose name begins with the characters 'NSET'. The remaining four characters of the set name can be any printable character. These node sets are transferred directly to the ABAQUS input file and are then available for general use should the user wish to edit the file.
