Princeton Peace Network at Princeton University presents Robert Meeropol

Princeton University, McCosh Building Room 10

Meeropol is the younger son of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg and author of "An Execution in the Family." In 1953, when he was six years old, the United State Government executed his parents for "conspiring to steal the secret of the atomic bomb." In 1990, after leaving his private law practice, Robert founded the Rosenberg Fund for Children and now serves as its Executive Director. Orphaned at 6, Meeropol started the RFC to help children who are experiencing the kind of nightmare he and his brother experienced as children. Sustained by a loving and culturally rich relationship with his adoptive parents whose name he bears, Meeropol knows from personal experience that activities the RFC supports can be a safe harbor for a child in traumatic and unstable circumstances. Free and open to the public. Organized and co-sponsored by New Jerseyans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty. For more information, call their office at 609-278-6719 or see www.njadp.org.
